Frequently Asked Questions

SPF defines which servers may send email for your domain. DKIM adds a digital signature so the message cannot be altered. DMARC tells receivers what to do when mail fails SPF/DKIM (deliver, spam, or reject) and sends you reports.

Common causes: SPF exceeds 10 DNS lookups and errors out, there is more than one SPF record, DKIM is not active, or DMARC is missing. Since 2024 Gmail and Yahoo require SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for bulk senders.

DKIM lives under a selector name that can be anything. We check 40-odd common selectors (Google, Microsoft 365, Zoho, Brevo, Mailchimp, etc.). If yours differs, find s= in the DKIM-Signature header of your email and enter it in the DKIM Selector field.
